Today I took the time to ‘microformatize‘ my blog a little bit. Each post is now fitted with an hCard for my person and the About page got a little bit of extra markup as well.
I now also try and use Microformats whenever I refer to other people, organisations or if I ever post about events and such.

So this is an ongoing process. Expect to find more and more Microformats here in the future!

One way to take advantage of the Microformats on this page and others which are using Microformats, is to install the great Tails Firefox extension.

ICS.istsehr.org

I reactivated a (very) old site that I did in my first year at uni. It basically gives you the chance to send in funny quotes from colleagues and lecturers for everybody else to view it. (It’s even got RSS 🙂 )

I know it’s mainly the concept of bash.org copied. But I wrote it all from scratch (in about 5min.) so it’s no exact copy 😉

Unfortunately it’s in german, so unless Google Translate improves or you learn reading my mother tounge you’re out of the game.

So I made it back in one piece from the last Festival this year.
I didn’t sleep very much, worked hard and also tried to get a bit of the party. The sad thing is my car broke down on the way back from Salzburg, hope it won’t cost to much to get it fixed again 🙁

Sadly my digicam is broken so I don’t have any photos, you’ll have to put up with a crappy one from my cellphone. I’ll try to reach everybody who made photos of me and with me to send them to me. They’ll be up in my gallery then.

Wir Sind Helden @Frequency Festival '06

Now I’ve got one week left before I fly off to Australia to work there for four month. Everyone capable of reading German can take a look at the Aussiblog which will be updated while I’m away from home.

In an addition to my previous iTunes Quiz I’m posting this entry.
I’ve always kept a smart playlist in my iTunes called “Never heard” featuring an auto updating list of all songs which have a Play Count of zero.

In the last two days I started to shuffle this playlist and listen to it. There’s a lot of cool music buried in my Library without me recognizing it! In those two days I’ve added a bunch of high rated music titles to the stack – it’s really worth it. You should try it!

So to get back to my iTunes Quiz, make a smart playlist like mine and tell me how much music it contains.

Never heard 144 songs, 11,5 hours, 909,3 MB

…steadily decreasing 😉
